Optional Extras:
Site Visit Consultation £250: For clients who would benefit from an in-person consultation, we can visit your property to review the space, take measurements, discuss ideas and gain a deeper understanding of the architectural and practical considerations before the design process begins.
Currently available within London.
Lighting Plans from £250 per room: A well-considered lighting scheme can transform how a space feels and functions.
We'll create detailed lighting and electrical layouts, indicating the positioning of lighting, switches and socket locations, providing clear guidance for your contractor or electrician during installation.
Joinery Drawings from £250: Where a project requires tailored storage or furniture solutions, we can develop bespoke joinery concepts to maximise both functionality and aesthetics.
This service includes detailed 3D design drawings, helping you visualise the finished piece before manufacture.
OUR PROCESS
1. Discovery & Brief
Every project begins with understanding not just your space, but how you want it to feel.
Once you have booked your preferred Interior Direction package, I'll be in touch within 2 working days with details of the next steps and a questionnaire designed to help me understand your home, lifestyle, aspirations and practical requirements.
You'll also have the opportunity to share photographs, floor plans and inspiration images before we meet for a discovery call. Together, we'll discuss how you use the space, the atmosphere you'd like to create and any challenges you'd like the design to address.
This stage helps establish a clear creative direction and ensures the design is tailored entirely to you.
2. Space Planning & Layout
Once we understand the brief, we'll review your floor plans, measurements and photographs to gain a complete understanding of the space.
Using this information, we'll develop a scaled furniture layout that considers flow, functionality and proportion. This forms the foundation of the design and ensures every piece has a purpose and place before we move into the creative stages. You can tweak the layout up to 3x. It’s only once you’re happy, we’ll start designing.
3. Concept Development
With the layout agreed, we'll begin developing the creative vision for your space.
This includes colour palettes, materials, furnishings, lighting and styling direction, all brought together into a cohesive concept. We'll present the initial scheme for feedback, allowing refinements before progressing to the final design.
4. Visualisation & Design Development
If you choose the full Interior Direction package, once the concept has been approved, we develop the design in greater detail and create CGI visualisations to bring the scheme to life.
These visuals help you fully understand the proposed design, providing clarity and confidence before you begin implementing the space.
5. Final Design Package
Depending on your chosen package you will receive your final layout, design concept, CGI visualisations and a curated specification of furniture, lighting, accessories and finishes.
You'll also receive a personalised implementation guide, allowing you to bring the design to life at your own pace, with 2 months follow-up support from Atelier Ercra included after delivery.
Please note: Larger rooms, open-plan spaces and highly multifunctional areas may require additional design time and will be quoted accordingly.
FAQS
What happens after I book?
Once you've booked your chosen Interior Direction package, I'll be in touch within 2 working days with details of the next steps and a questionnaire designed to help me understand your home, lifestyle, aspirations and practical requirements.
You'll also be asked to provide photographs, measurements, floor plans (where available) and inspiration images. Don't worry if you don't have professional drawings; a hand-drawn sketch with basic measurements is often sufficient.
Once I've reviewed everything, we'll arrange a discovery call to discuss your project in more detail before the design process begins.
What is your cancellation policy?
I understand that plans can change.
If you need to cancel your Interior Direction package before your discovery call has been scheduled, a full refund will be provided.
Once a discovery call has been arranged, cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled call will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the discovery call will receive a 50% refund, as studio time has been reserved and project preparation may already have begun.
Once the discovery call has taken place and work has commenced, fees become non-refundable.
If circumstances allow, I will always endeavour to transfer your booking to an alternative start date.
What is Interior Direction?
Interior Direction is Atelier Ercra's virtual design service. Working remotely, we create a tailored design for your space and provide the tools needed to bring it to life. Depending on your package it will include layouts, mood boards, design concepts, CGI visualisations and a curated specification of recommended products.
How long does the design process take?
Delivery times vary depending on the package selected:
Interior Direction – Room Layout is typically delivered within 2–3 working days of the discovery call.
Interior Direction Essentials is typically delivered within 5–7 working days of the discovery call.
Interior Direction is typically delivered within 14 working days of the discovery call.
These timeframes assume that feedback and revision requests are provided promptly throughout the design process. Delays in receiving information or feedback may extend the overall project timeline.
If you have a specific deadline in mind, please let me know before booking and I'll do my best to accommodate it.
How will I receive my design?
Your completed design will be delivered digitally as a PDF presentation, making it easy to reference and implement at your own pace.
Depending on your chosen package, your presentation may include scaled furniture layouts, mood boards, concept designs, CGI visualisations and a curated selection of recommended furniture, lighting and accessories.
Where applicable, product recommendations will include direct links to help make sourcing and purchasing as straightforward as possible.
Whether you've selected a Room Layout package, Interior Direction Essentials or the full Interior Direction service, you'll receive a clear and practical roadmap designed to help you move forward with confidence.
What if I don't have floor plans?
Not a problem. A hand-drawn sketch with basic measurements is often sufficient. Alternatively, we can arrange a site visit within London for an additional fee.
Can you work with my existing furniture?
Absolutely. We are always happy to incorporate existing furniture, artwork and accessories where appropriate. During the briefing stage we'll discuss what you'd like to keep and build the design around those pieces.
Do clients receive trade discounts?
We have access to a number of trade accounts and supplier relationships. Where available, we'll highlight opportunities for clients to benefit from preferential pricing on selected products.
Can I use Interior Direction if I'm not based in London?
Yes. Interior Direction is a virtual service and can be delivered anywhere in the UK. We simply require photographs, measurements and floor plans (where available) to begin the design process.
