At Atelier Ercra, our colour consultancy blends design expertise with a deep understanding of light, architecture and materiality to help you confidently choose a palette that feels effortlessly cohesive and uniquely you.

Whether you’re refreshing a single room, redecorating an entire property, or looking for a considered scheme for a commercial space, we offer both in-person and virtual consultations tailored to how you live and how your space performs throughout the day.

We work closely with leading British paint houses to craft palettes that celebrate craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless colour.

How It Works

  • 1. Understanding Your Vision

    Every consultation begins with a conversation. We explore:

    - How you use each room
    - The atmosphere you want to create
    - Your architectural details and natural light
    - Your furnishings, flooring and materials
    - The colours you’re naturally drawn to or keen to experiment with

  • 2. Tailored Colour Palette

    You’ll receive a refined, practical scheme that includes:

    - Key wall colours, woodwork and ceiling tones
    - Accent shades and tonal variations
    - Finish recommendations (matte, eggshell, gloss, etc.)
    - Guidance on how colours flow between rooms
    - Notes on application and light considerations

  • 3. Samples & Specification

    You’ll receive a curated selection of paper samples to help you compare colours at home and see how they behave in different light. Once you’re happy with your chosen palette, you can take advantage of my trade accounts to order paint at a discounted rate—making the process easier and more cost-effective. A full colour specification document is provided for you (or your decorator) to follow with confidence.

Colour Consultancy Pricing

Whether you’re refreshing a private residence or specifying colours for a commercial project, the following consultancy packages are available. Every booking includes a complimentary discovery call, an in-person visit*, a fully detailed colour plan, and dedicated follow-up support to ensure your scheme feels considered and complete.

A minimum booking of 2 hours is required.

Pricing

2 hours — £400
Ideal for up to 6 rooms

3 hours — £600
Ideal for up to 9 rooms

Additional time — £100 per 30 minutes
Available only after an initial 2-hour session

*Travel costs may apply if you live outside of the M25. Virtual Colour Consultation is available if you prefer.

Optional Add-On: CGI Room Visualisation

For clients who want to truly see the impact of their colour palette before painting, I offer an optional CGI render of your room, created as accurately as possible using your photos, measurements, and architectural details.

This highly realistic visualisation shows how your chosen colours behave in your actual space—how they respond to natural light, interact with your furnishings, and shape the overall atmosphere.
